This self‑portrait was created by combining my own photograph with two fictional figures: a Chinese-Indonesian girl, Indri – named after my childhood friend, and a blond Caucasian man, Antoine. Also to go with the idea of crediting Inteledjensia Artifisial. Together, the trio forms a constructed relationship, an exploration of intimacy, projection that exist only in the space between memory and invention.
The process of bringing these figures into the composition, where everyone was exposed without clothes, was quite tricky with many layered promptings. It required precise and repeated instructions to achieve the exact presence, expression, and relational dynamic seen in the final image. By offering this work as a single unique piece, without an artist proof, inside a distance frame, I position the photograph as a singular object—closer to a painting or 3D sculpture than to a reproducible print. In a medium defined by replication, its unrepeatability becomes part of its meaning: a digital‑born portrait that exists only once, without copies, echoes, or editions.
